In a groundbreaking move to foster diversity and excellence in the oil and gas industry, Uganda Petroleum Institute, Kigumba (UPIK) has announced an 80% tuition subsidy for 100 students to pursue an International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) in Oil & Gas. The initiative, now open for applications for the second cohort, welcomes not only aspiring engineers but also extends invitations to females and individuals with a background in mechanical engineering. To be eligible for this unique opportunity, candidates must possess a minimum of 2 principal passes in either physics, chemistry, or mathematics.
