Kitara FC Secures 30 Million Shilling Sponsorship Deal with Kinyara Sugar Limited
In a significant move for Kitara Football Club, a sponsorship agreement valued at 30 million shillings has been inked with Kinyara Sugar Limited. The partnership was officially announced during a signing ceremony at the club’s headquarters.
Under the terms of the agreement, Kinyara Sugar Limited’s logo will prominently feature on the sleeves of Kitara FC’s training and matchday jerseys. In addition, the company will leverage advertising opportunities inside the stadium during Kitara FC’s home matches.
Representing Kitara FC at the signing ceremony was Mr. Mugerwa Francis, the Vice President of Communication, standing in for President Mr. Deo Kasozi. On the other side, Kinyara Sugar Limited was represented by Mr. Ravi Ramalingam, the General Manager.
Witnessing this momentous occasion were key figures, including Mr. Geoffrey Tumwesige, the Public Relations Officer of Kitara FC, Aldon Walukamba, Corporate Communications Manager of Kinyara, and Mr. Santosh Kumar Jha, the Acting Head of Finance at Kinyara.
Expressing gratitude for the support, Kitara FC President Mr. Deo Kasozi, through Vice President Mr. Mugerwa Francis, urged more companies to rally behind the club. He highlighted the vital role sponsorships play in fostering the growth of local football.
Mr. Ravi Ramalingam, the General Manager of Kinyara Sugar Limited, emphasized that the sponsorship of Kitara FC aligns with the company’s commitment to supporting communities in the Bunyoro region. Notably, Kinyara had previously served as the main shirt sponsor for Kitara FC during its stint in the FUFA Big League in the 2022-2023 season.
