Police in Hoima district are searching for Patrick Rusoke, a councillor representing Buraru Sub County, who is accused of misappropriating Emyooga funds.
The investigation was initiated by Hoima district chairman Uthuman Mubarack Kadir, who found that Rusoke had received multiple payments under different names.
When police arrived at his home to arrest him, Rusoke evaded capture by fleeing over a fence. Authorities continue to pursue him for allegedly diverting government funds meant for beneficiaries.
